This morning, as I was browsing for today's outfit, I once again made the mistake of ignoring the local weather forecast. I soon began to regret my decision of not piling on layers once the frigid Richmond air hit me. Mother nature, you won again. Once my morning classes were complete, Ali and I decided to stay in Pollak (VCU's art building) instead of venturing to find a location to shoot since the wind was so chilling. We made our way to the nearest outdoor patio and came across these darling red painted benches. Okay, they weren't that great, but the pop of color looked great with my bold lips in the pictures. I actually was super pleased with the way this Lookbook came together regarding the circumstances. Oh, and I'll admit my Dimepiece beanie was a huge inspiration for this look. I amaze myself with the endless possibilities I can make when basing a whole look on one piece.
