Today, I woke expecting the streets of the good ol' Rich city to be covered in a blanket of snow. With this knowledge, I tried to dress as warm as my closet would let me. I will tell you guys right now, I absolutely hate winter. I feel I can express myself more accurately and with less effort when the weather is warm. But, since we cannot dictate what mother nature will give us here in Virginia, I quickly grabbed my semi-new Zara scarf. The problem with this scarf is that it is very bulky and hard to style. With that being said, it is one of the best quality scarves I own and it holds heat like no other. Throwing this scarf over a basic black tee and slipping my moto leather jacket (my current obsession piece right now) over it worked for my future journey trudging through the snow. The pieces I put together created a quite simple but edgy attempt to stay warm. Although it did not start storming till about 4 pm, it was still decently cold. And by decently I mean pretty damn cold. As I made it home from my final classes, I was most definitely thankful for my plaid Zara scarf.
