Welp, it's that time of year again, when the Richmond air is hot and the Spring classes have come to an end. NotSoBGC took a long break from posting on our blog; we were busy with exams and posting on the RVA Fashion Week blog site! But finally, we are back at it. Before we left to go back to the 757 we wanted one last Richmond-based blog post to say our goodbyes to the good old 804.
After some thinking and exploring, we found this large hill in Churchill of downtown Richmond to do our shoot on. There was a perfect view of the city to showcase our love of Richmond and our Richmond-inspired outfits. These two outfits perfectly exemplify the "NotSoBGC" style: edgy, tomboy-inspired streetwear. A tomboy is easily mimicked by girly girls like ourselves by combining the right pieces with some feminine flair- whether it be some spunky heels or a bodysuit with extreme cutouts!
Kayci channeled her inner kid with a playful pair of overalls. How does one make overalls sexy?? Well, add a crop top and topshop heels and you're in business. Overalls are a trend we expect to see a lot this upcoming summer.
Ali was able to capture a sporty chic look with her new leather baseball cap and some sneaker wedges. A simple, yet striking American Apparel bodysuit gives the outfit style and some edge. In addition to overalls, we expect to see a trend in leather hats out on the streets this summer as well.
As we say goodbye to the 804, we want all of our followers to know we may be leaving Richmond, but back in the 757 we will still be posting!! Stay tuned for a "Virginia Beach" twist on the Not So Billionaire Girls Club. Expect lots of beaches and tan lines!
