Spring Has Sprung

What better way to welcome Spring than with a lovely lookbook post! In this lookbook, we will show you easy, trendy ways to dress for warm weather with just two basic themes: white and denim!
Never shy away from simplicity! That was what the two of us learned from putting together these outfits. We often stress about putting together the most complex, unthought-of outfits, but a lot of the time you will find success in simplicity. A girl who can pull off some baggy boyfriend jeans or an over-sized jean chambray shirt really makes a statement. Even further, the right styling and some touches of white can go a long way.

Kayci is sporting baggy boyfriend jeans with a large white tee. To balance out the menswear inspired aspect, she added a gold geometric necklace and a brightly-colored headband to accessorize. Ali went the opposite route and wore some basic whites- a cropped turtleneck and linen pants- but added a menswear influence with a large chambray shirt. She used chunky wedges and flirty pink lipstick to give it some style.

Overall, the two of us agreed it was a great day to shoot. Our good friend and great photographer Cody Ramirez agreed to help us out and produced some great photos. We took advantage of the warm weather (and the fact that it was the first day of Spring!) to explore Richmond and experiment with some of the locations the city has to offer. Let us know what you think!
